Tasty Peach Studios Review #1

I'm incredibly lucky to have been given the opportunity to review and endorse Tasty Peach Studios!! I am a huge fan of Tasty Peach with their kawaii accessories and characters! At every convention I attend, I make sure to say Hi at their booth and purchase a few items, my favorite lately have been their grab bags~

Tasty Peach Studios is out of Indiana and founded by Mooglegurl, also known as Ryan Zanfei; an incredibly talented artist who specializes in Japanese inspired cute! Tasty Peach was created in 2007 and started off selling small clay charms and has grown to selling everything from metal charms to adorable plushies and creative wigs~ Like I mentioned above, every convention I've attended, they've been at and they are always working on new and exciting designs! I started my kawaii lifestyle with Tasty Peach with one of their lanyards with a cute fox design on it. One could say this was the beginning of my downfall XD 4 years later, I now own 3 lanyards, 10 phone charms, 5 necklaces, 3 sets of earrings, a limited edition pin and a t-shirt :3 And that collection is ever growing (as my boyfriend can attest to :P ) But enough about my love for Tasty Peach! (Just kidding, I could never stop XD ), let's talk about the lovely new pieces I am reviewing! If you know me, then you know I always choose anything fox related, but seeing as I already have everything fox themed from Tasty Peach, I chose another cute theme: The Playful Meowchi! A ridiculously cute design of fat chibi cats enjoying the Mochi ice cream dessert popular in Japan!

With this theme, I received The Playful Meowchi lanyard and the Meowchi Pile 2 phone charm.

The lanyard is a sturdy silk-like material with a special shine to it, giving it that extra dose of cute and sparkle~ The pattern within it is a repeat pattern of the Playful Meowchi in Pink, Mint and White, laying on their tummies and back with the biggest happy kitty smiles on! (They must love mochi as much as I do X3 ) . Between the chibi kittens are small designs of Mochi on sticks, strawberries and sunflowers, all laying on a bed of pastel yellow! The design in undeniably adorable and is begging to be worn; right now I'm planning on having my work keys on this one so I can be kawaii on the clock! The best thing about this lanyard is that, while being super cute, it is also sturdy and useful. It has a metal d-ring to connect the clasp to the lanyard (which helps the material not tear when there's a lot of weight on the clasp), and the clasp opens and closes easily with the fingers but not easy enough in motion where items will fall off accidentally. I especially enjoy that the clasp is set into the d-ring with a swivel so you never have to worry about having to take off and put on your lanyard again in order to have your badge show (or other items).

The second item I received was the Meowchi Pile 2 phone charm, Pile 2 is the description for the color scheme I chose. Pile 1 would be Pink, Mint and White to match the lanyard, but I already have a phone charm similar to that, so I chose Pile 2: purple, yellow and hot pink! Tasty Peach's phone charms have always been plastic up until this most recent year, and I'll admit, I was very hesitant when I saw they were converting to metal, but I was pleasantly surprised to see the quality and shine of the metal in comparison to the plastic. All pieces have a small sturdy string for the charm to lay off of, and that string can be easily roped around their Smart Phone Plugs, a phone case or a key ring. The design is just as cute as the lanyard and features 3 fat chibi kittens playing with each other in a tiered fashion, making the small design very enjoyable and aesthetically pleasing, especially with their smiling happy faces! One thing I've found I really enjoy with the new metal charms is a cute twinkling noise it makes XD I feel it just enhances our anime-girl transformation scene!

As always, I'm impressed and in love with my Tasty Peach items! One day I will have to post my constantly growing collection to share with you all~
