Hard Dance Minnesota just had their 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY! It's so exciting to think that I've been going to Hard Dance since it's started and I've been dancing with Bass Kandi at them for 3 years :D

Us girls at Bass Kandi always come up with fun themes for each event, but this time, Hard Dance did us a huge favor and gave us a theme that we loved: The Fifth Element! If you haven't seen the movie, make sure to check it out *Multi-Pass!*. Of course, our first thought was to replicate Leeloo, with her bright orange hair and white strappy body suit...but within minutes of Hard Dance posting the theme of this show, girls were already uploading pictures of their LeeLoo outfits. And you know how Bass Kandi is, we love to STAND-OUT!

So, we worked together to come up with a simple way to not only make the outfit stand out, but also a bit more comfortable and not as diaper-y looking lol

We decided to switch the orange hair for BLUE and add more blue accents throughout the outfit. One of my team members, Sparkle, created a great tutorial for the rest of us to create the white bondage outfit with elastic! That way it was easier to dance and move in.

The wigs we chose were crappy party wigs, but they lit up! That was a really cool effect on stage, but otherwise mine didn't straighten out as well as it should have.

I bought the blue sportsbra and shorts on Amazon and I felt they were the perfect bit of sexy but not sleazy to help make the outfit more approachable.

The white harness was tough to get the mind around, but once I started making it, I had it done pretty fast! Again, it was super easy to move in since we made it out of elastic instead of clothe.

White Camel 311's for the shoes, and the flower lei wrist pieces were added on at the show, as we were handing them out to attendees!

I really loved that Hard Dance lived this theme with our VIP/Backstage Passes being MULTIPASS lol

Overall, the entire Bass Kandi crew looked hella good and I love that with each new show we are bringing our A-game and leveling up :D
